A sparse looking palm with never more than 3-4 fronds. It likes partial shade, but will accept full sun. Somewhat slow, about a 3.0-3.5 on a 1-10 scale. Like many of the New Caledonia palms, it opens up with a vibrant red frond. The red will eventually turn green over a two week period |
