Approximately 26 species have been described, but possibly fewer, distributed throughout the West Indies & from Mexico southwards to Argentina
Growing comments:
Because of their spines, not widely grown. They do very well at LPG but are not that fast, probably about a 4.5-5.0 on a 1-10 scale.
